Based on the true story of the 1925 diptheria outbreak in Nome, Alaska, “The Great Alaskan Race” tells the story of widowed father and champion musher Leonhard 'Sepp' Seppala who steps up to deliver the anti-toxin to the hospital. With his own child's life on the line, Sepp battles the impossible, accompanied by his pack of sled dogs. Follow along with the incredible story of Sepp, and the sled dogs Togo and Balto in their historic journey to save the town of Nome, Alaska, from a deadly virus.

Written and directed by Brian Presley, who also stars as Seppala, the cast includes Treat Williams (Dr. Welch), Brad Leland (Mayor Maynard), Henry Thomas (Thompson), Bruce Davison (Governor Bone), Will Wallace (Gunnar), Brea Bee (Constance), and James Russo (Wild Bill).
